Albany Botanical Society Indigenous Plant Sale

Breaking news is that the Albany Branch of the Botanical Society of South Africa will once again participate in the festival through their indigenous plant sale!

The proceeds of the plant sale will be used to support some of the Branch's environmental projects. In past years these have included supporting the "Inkcubeko nendalo: Bio-cultural diversity schools outreach program", the alien clearing hacks in the beautiful and sensitive natural ecosystems around Grahamstown, and the redevelopment of Makana Botanical Garden.

As with previous BotSoc plant sales, a fantastic spread of indigenous plants suitable for Grahamstown gardens will again be available. Gardeners can expect a variety of bulbs, creepers, ferns, unusual trees, ground covers, succulents, shrubs and exciting herbaceous plants.
